Why midterms matter
No president is on the ballot. Congress is. Congress decides what a president can actually do, and what gets stopped. Whoever holds it writes the budget, confirms the judges who rule on your rights for the next thirty years, and can block or pass anything.
Closer to home, this is the ballot with your sheriff, your prosecutor, your school board, and the people who draw the district maps for the next ten years.
