VOTE EARLY

Your county sets the days. Look yours up: votesearch.utah.gov/voter-search/search/search-by-address/how-and-where-can-i-vote

The state says in-person early voting begins Tuesday, October 20, 2026. Its election calendar says each county's early voting period can begin up to 14 days before Election Day and must run at least four days, and to contact your county clerk. Locations, hours, and the last day are set by your county.

Register by Friday, October 23

Voting by mail? This changed

Postmarks are no longer accepted. Your ballot has to arrive by 8 p.m. on Election Day, so mail it early or use a drop box.

If you have a Utah driver license or Utah state ID card, write the last four digits of its number on your return envelope. Leaving them off may result in your ballot not being counted. You can give the last four digits of your Social Security number instead. If you have none of these, your ballot still counts if your signature matches the one on file.
